Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the two new trains—Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi (Train No. 22231/22232) Vande Bharat Express and an additional Vande Bharat train on the Bengaluru-Chennai route via SMVT Bengaluru and Krishnarajapuram—on March 12. With these two additions, the number of Vande Bharat trains in Karnataka will reach seven.
The Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru (Train No. 22231) Vande Bharat Express will leave Kalaburagi at 5:15 a.m. and arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 2 p.m. every day except Friday. The train will stop in Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Guntakal, Anantapur, and Yelahanka.

On all days except Thursdays, the SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi (Train No. 22232) Vande Bharat Express departs from SMVT Bengaluru at 2:40 pm and arrives at Kalaburagi at 11:30 pm.
Furthermore, the Mysuru-MGR Chennai (Train No. 20663) Vande Bharat Express will depart Mysuru at 6:00 a.m. and arrive at MGR Chennai at 12:20 p.m. on all days except Wednesday. The train will make stops at Mandya, SMVT Bengaluru, Krishnarajapuram, and Katpadi along the way.
The MGR Chennai-Mysuru (Train No. 20664) Vande Bharat Express will depart from MGR Chennai at 5:00 p.m. and arrive in Mysuru at 11:20 p.m. every day except Wednesday.
However, until the maintenance facility in Mysuru is operational, the train will run between SMVT Bengaluru and MGR Chennai Central.
