The tournament was inaugurated by Shatrudhan Mahto, brother and representative of Baghmara MLA Dhulu Mahto. Various dignitaries, including representatives of the district council president, panchayat samiti members, and local leaders, were present. Teams from different locations, including Dhanbad, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Katras, Harina, Sonardih, and Jhagarahi, participated in the tournament. The organizers announced plans to invite teams from Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, and Odisha in the coming years.
