This is in stark contrast to the usual practice of placing such pipes above the building level to avoid odor. When questioned about the issue, a railway official, Rana Chakravarty, stated that the press should not bother with such matters as the residents haven't complained. This response reflects the apathy towards the concerns of the employees who are residing in these quarters. The situation warrants an investigation.

gas release pipe ki height bahut kam hai, jisse residents ko badboo ka samna karna padega. Isse bachne ke liye aamtor par pipes building se upar lagaye jate hain. Jab railway official Rana Chakravarty se is baare mein pucha gaya, toh unhone kaha ki press ko chinta karne ki zarurat nahi hai, kyunki residents ne koi shikayat nahi ki hai. Yeh response dekha ja sakta hai ki woh D-grade mein rahene wale employees ki fikr nahi karte hain. Is matter ki jaanch hona zaruri hai.
