राजगीर से महानगरों को जोड़ने के लिए नई रेल का परिचालन अब तक नहीं बना चुनावी मुद्दा

The Rajgir-Bakhtiyarpur railway line is a vital lifeline for the district of Nalanda in Bihar, India. It connects the town of Rajgir, a popular tourist destination, with other major cities in the region. Despite its importance, the lack of long-distance train services from Rajgir has been a point of contention for...

locals. Currently, only the Shramjeevi Express runs daily from Rajgir to Delhi. Travelers seeking to reach Mumbai, Kolkata, or other major cities still need to travel to Patna or Gaya. The Rajgir-Howrah Fast Passenger train, which operated on this line until January 2020, was discontinued due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has yet to be reinstated. While recent additions like the Palamu Express and Sarnath Express have provided some relief, the absence of a direct train to Mumbai remains a significant concern. Residents frequently demand the introduction of trains connecting Rajgir to Mumbai and other major cities. The line is set to be extended to Koderma, making it a key connection point for four major rail lines, further increasing its significance. The Rajgir railway station has been selected for the 'Amrit Bharat Station Yojana,' aiming to upgrade its facilities. However, the lack of substantial train services has created disappointment among the locals, prompting them to consider it a potential election issue.

Bihar ke Nalanda district mein Rajgir-Bakhtiyarpur railway line ek important lifeline hai. Ye line Rajgir, ek famous tourist destination, ko dusre major cities se connect karta hai. jaati hai. Mumbai, Kolkata, ya dusre major cities jaane ke liye, locals ko Patna ya Gaya jaana padta hai. January 2020 tak, Rajgir-Howrah Fast Passenger train chalti thi, lekin COVID-19 ke wajah se band ho gayi aur abhi tak start nahin hui. Halaanki, Palamu Express aur Sarnath Express jaisi new trains aa gayi hain, lekin Mumbai ke liye direct train nahin hona ek bada problem hai. Locals Rajgir se Mumbai aur dusre cities ke liye trains chalane ki demand karte hain. Line ko Koderma tak extend kiya ja raha hai, jisse yeh four major rail lines ka connection point ban jaayega. Rajgir railway station ko 'Amrit Bharat Station Yojana' mein selected kiya gaya hai, lekin train services mein improvement nahin hone ki wajah se locals khush nahin hain aur yeh election issue ban sakta hai.
