Iske 90% se zyada kamai operation ke liye use hoti hai, aur Howrah Junction, 23 platforms ke saath, India ka sabse busy railway station hai. Kuchh interesting baat yeh hai ki Ahmednagar mein Srirampur aur Belapur stations ek hi jagah pe hain.
