trains are being routed through the Dhuri-Jakhal line, reducing pressure on the Chandigarh-Sahnewal railway section. Only coal and wheat carrying freight trains are allowed on this route to avoid affecting thermal power plants. Passengers who usually board trains from Ambala Cantt Railway Station now need to travel to Ludhiana or other stations, except those boarding from Amritsar, Una Himachal, Nangal Dam, and Sirhind. Train information will be provided for delayed trains and those stalled on the Chandigarh-Sahnewal single-track section, assuring passengers that their trains will arrive eventually, albeit with delays.

Is route par sirf coal aur wheat wali freight trains hi chal rahi hain, taaki thermal power plants affect na hon. Ambala Cantt Railway Station se travel karne wale passengers ko ab Ludhiana ya dusre stations pe jana padega, lekin Amritsar, Una Himachal, Nangal Dam, aur Sirhind se boarding karne wale passengers ko Ambala Cantt aana padega. Delayed trains aur Chandigarh-Sahnewal single-track section par rukne wali trains ki information di jaayegi, isse passengers ko assurance milega ki unki train pahunchegi, thodi der se sahi.
