Railway police in the Pune division, including Miraj, Kolhapur, and Sangli, launched a crackdown on unauthorized vendors operating on railway platforms and trains. Samples of nine food items from authorized stalls were collected for laboratory testing. Passengers are encouraged to report any violations through social media, the Rail Madad complaint booklet, or other contact channels.
