Both boys came from families of modest means, with Mubarak's father working as a puncture repair shop owner and Mubarak himself working at an electrical shop. Lucky's father is a tailor, barely making ends meet. The tragedy occurred just ten days after Lucky's older brother, studying in Mumbai, was injured in an accident, leaving Lucky's father in Mumbai to care for him. The accident deeply saddened the wedding reception attendees, who rushed to the scene after hearing the news.

Ye accident tab hua jab Lucky ka elder brother, jo Mumbai mein padhta hai, ek accident mein injured ho gaya tha, aur Lucky ke papa Mumbai gaye the uske care ke liye.
