The zone which you are referring to for the construction of this alternative route is the one which took almost 4 years to double Daliganj-Malhaur 12 km stretch in Lucknow city. I think it's better to ask other zones to upgrade their route to decongest the mainline. This zone is only interested in gauge conversion taking long years or upgradation around GKP. Farrukhabad needs good political representation so as to connect to Shahajahanpur or Hardoi and Aligarh. RB should pressurize NR to upgrade MB LKO route to 130 as soon as possible.
