Of derailed hopes and diffused plans

Passengers are experiencing discomfort due to cramped conditions and a lack of adequate services. The situation is exacerbated by the increasing tourist traffic and the limited number of trains...

connecting Kerala to other major cities, particularly Mumbai. Despite the state's high passenger revenue, the railway prioritizes revenue generation by increasing premium trains and AC coaches, leaving basic services lacking. Passengers, including students and those from lower income backgrounds, are disproportionately impacted by the fare increase. The lack of sufficient trains to cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad also poses a significant challenge. Kerala's rail network requires additional services for both long- and short-distance travel. This includes more trains to Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, as well as increased services for middle-distance journeys. The current reliance on express trains for short-distance travel further contributes to overcrowding. While the railway claims to operate 571 train services in the state, passengers are calling for more frequent and efficient services to address the pressing issues facing Kerala's rail network.

Kerala mein train service bahut bura haal hai. Overcrowded coaches, dirty toilets, unreliable food, sleeper coaches kam karke AC coaches badha diya gaya hai, aur Vande Bharat trains ne aur bhi problem create kar diya hai. Passengers ko bahut discomfort ho raha hai, crowded compartments, rickety, rat aur cockroach se bhara...

hua hai. Mumbai aur Kerala ke beech mein sirf 14 trains chalta hai, jabki Tamil Nadu mein Mumbai ke liye 50 trains chalta hai. Tourists bhi bahut aate hai Kerala, aur unko bhi alag se problem ho raha hai. Railway revenue generate karne ke liye, AC coaches aur premium trains badha raha hai, aur general aur sleeper coaches kam kar diya gaya hai, jisse students aur economically backward logon ko bahut problem ho raha hai. Kerala ko aur bhi trains ki zarurat hai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, aur Hyderabad ke liye. Short-distance travel ke liye bhi aur trains ki zarurat hai, kyuki log express trains par depend kar rahe hai, aur wo bhi overcrowded ho raha hai.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
