750V DC third rail traction electrification, traction substations, auxiliary substations, and a SCADA system. The project is expected to be completed within 130 weeks. Additionally, RVNL has also secured a separate contract worth Rs 138 crore from Central Railway for OHE modification work in the Amla-Nagpur section. This project involves upgrading the existing 1 x 25 kV electric traction system to a 2 x 25 kV AT feeding system to meet a 3000 MT loading target. The completion timeframe for this project is 24 months. The stock prices of both Siemens and RVNL experienced a marginal decline on June 10, 2023, following the announcement of these contracts.
