Railways opens Majorda-Cansaulim double track as case against activists changes track to special court

protests against the track doubling project. The activists maintained their opposition to the project, viewing the charges as a tactic to demoralize them. Meanwhile, the railway officials were preparing for the inspection and were delighted to announce the opening of the Majorda-Cansaulim stretch for passenger traffic. The new double track is expected to significantly improve rail traffic efficiency, especially for trains departing from Vasco on the South Western Railway line.
