Among the apprehended were Guttu Kumar, Sonu alias Nepali, Rajesh Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Shashibhushan Pandey alias Bablu, and Chandan Kumar. Guttu, Sonu, Manoj, Vinod, Chandan, and Shashibhushan have previous criminal records involving theft and robbery. The gang members operated in different sections of the route, and the auto drivers who transported them were also involved in the robberies. The stolen goods were sold by Shashibhushan to Deepak Kumar, who melted them down and remade them.
