To address reservation waiting issues, a 120-day advance train schedule will be implemented, mitigating cancellations and providing passengers more certainty. On his visit, the GM also inaugurated a parcel scanner at Tatanagar Station for security purposes, and inspected the Tatanagar-Kharagpur and Tatanagar-Jharsuguda third rail lines. He confirmed the third line will be operational in October, allowing trains to run up to Tatanagar. Work on the fourth rail line between Howrah and Jharsuguda is also underway. The GM addressed concerns about train delays, stating that they were due to special trains and are now being rectified. He also mentioned the upcoming completion of two new platforms at Adityapur Station by the end of June, addressing a long-standing local demand. The station is also under construction and will serve as a holding yard for trains.
