Is project ke liye Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) se loan liya gaya hai, aur iska cost Rs 1,957.05 crore hone wala hai, jisme centre aur state government equally contribute karenge. Metro mein daily average ridership almost 1 lakh tak pahunch gaya hai, aur iske shuru hone se ab tak 10 crore se zyada logon ne iski service use ki hai. Anniversary celebrate karne ke liye Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) ganamela, food festival, music bands, painting aur quiz, technical seminars aise cultural programs organise kar raha hai, June 29 tak.
