has been sent to the board for approval.Other proposals approved include extending the stoppage time of the Ajmer-Sialdah Express at Fatehpur station, constructing a 250-meter road in the Cantt side of Kanpur Central, building an air-conditioned waiting room and VIP lounge at Manik station, and constructing a new station building in Fatehpur towards the south. However, the proposal to run an intercity express train between Kanpur and Prayagraj in the morning and evening was not approved.The meeting also discussed various other improvement initiatives, including installing coach display boards at Bharwari and Sirathu railway stations, launching a special campaign to prevent overcharging for water bottles at stations, instructing loco pilots to use draft gears to minimize jolts for passengers, forming an RPF team to prevent vehicles and bikes from entering Eta railway station, constructing a booking hall and passenger waiting room towards platform number five, building a 12-foot wide overbridge connecting to lifts and escalators, constructing deluxe toilets at Ghaziabad and nearby stations, implementing an evaluation system and quick feedback for catering services inside trains, and building rail coach restaurants at Dadri, Tundla, Chivki, Subedarganj, Aligarh, Khurja, Govindpuri, and Kanpur.The DRM, Himanshu Badoni, assured the members of addressing all issues and welcomed their suggestions and feedback to improve services and development efforts. The meeting also included information about the ongoing development work at 15 Amrit Bharat stations, the operation of 324 trains at a speed of 130 km/h, the One Station One Product campaign with stalls at 38 stations, rail coach restaurants in Prayagraj and Mirzapur, water vending machines, automatic ticket vending machines, mechanized cleaning, and other services provided at 151 stations to around 2 lakh passengers daily.
