Muzaffarpur and Rohtas districts of Bihar. The trio, arrested from platform number 9 of Gorakhpur Junction, were found to be involved in four theft incidents. The gang operated by selling mosquito nets during the day and stealing from trains at night with the help of their wives. They would hide in train toilets and wait for their wives to bring stolen bags, extract valuables, and then discard the bags. The arrest was made based on surveillance and information provided by Rahul's wife, Vibha, who was previously arrested.
