Its construction will begin once the tendering process is complete. In addition, a high-level bridge is planned near Bhonra, over the existing Birsay Bridge on the same highway. This new bridge, with a two-lane road from Dinobali Mor to the proposed new Birsay Bridge, is being designed by Subudvi Consultants. It will be located 15 meters higher and 15 meters away from the existing bridge. This dual-bridge system is intended to alleviate traffic congestion and improve road safety.
