to meet the Finance Minister and request her to deny approval. 19 UDF and BJP MPs from Kerala will be present during these meetings. The protest committee has also planned to organize protests before the local and state elections. This comes after the new central government took charge and the state government requested approval for the SilverLine project. The state finance minister raised the request during pre-budget discussions with the central finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman. Besides the SilverLine project, the state government requested financial aid to address its financial crisis, including a ₹24,000 crore package for two years, an increase in the borrowing limit to 3.5% of the GSDP, a support price increase for rubber, a ₹5000 crore package for the Vizhinjam port, and permission to borrow ₹6000 crore for national highway development. They also requested a 75% central share for centrally sponsored schemes, an increase in the central share for welfare pensions, and housing construction schemes.

Kerala government ne ek baar phir SilverLine project ke liye approval ke liye central government se request kiya hai. Iske jawab mein, K-Rail protest committee ne project ke khilaf apne efforts ko badha diya hai. Unka plan hai ki woh Railway Minister se directly milenge aur central government ko...
