Tamil Nadu: Special train tickets get sold out as advance booking for Diwali season begins

Advance bookings for special trains operating on October 29th for the Diwali season began on Sunday. Tickets for the Tirunelveli and Guruvayur express trains sold out within 15 minutes. announced that tickets for travel on October 29th can be booked on July 1st, and tickets for October 30th can be booked on July 2nd. Over 3 lakh people are expected to travel by train to their hometowns in the state before Diwali, which falls on October 31st this year. To accommodate the anticipated demand, bookings for special trains opened 120 days in advance. For more information about booking tickets, visit www.irctc.co.in.

Diwali se pehle, state mein 3 lakh se zyada log apne ghar jaane ke liye train se safar karenge. Diwali is saal 31 October (Thursday) ko hai. Public ki suvidha ke liye, special trains ke liye booking 120 din pehle hi shuru ki gayi thi. Ticket booking ke bare mein jyada jaankaari ke liye, www.irctc.co.in par jaa sakte hain.
