L&T Metro Rail, which operates the Hyderabad Metro, has recently received the Golden Peacock Award for its commitment to environmental management and climate change mitigation. The award was presented at the Institute of Directors' 25th International Conference on Corporate Governance, held recently in Bengaluru. L&T Metro's managing director and CEO, K.V.B. Reddy, attributed the award to the team's continuous efforts in maintaining high safety standards and a healthy work environment.
