On Wednesday, the Inkilabi Naujawan Sabha (RYA) organized a protest at Samastipur Junction demanding immediate recruitment to fill vacant positions in the Indian Railways. The protesters claimed that the privatization of Indian Railways is leading to the elimination of general and sleeper classes and lack of basic amenities, forcing passengers to travel in inhumane conditions. They also highlighted the increasing number of accidents due to staff shortages and demanded improved safety measures. The protest was attended by RYA state vice-president Ranjit Kumar Ram, district secretary Rahul Rai, and several other members.
