Shri Anil Kumar Khandelwal Inspects Ongoing Work at Pamban Bridge

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi-Faridabad Metro Line, connecting Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar in Faridabad. This 9-station line, built primarily with Indian materials, is expected to benefit around 2 lakh daily commuters between Delhi and Faridabad. The project, costing approximately Rs. 2,500 crore, was funded by the Haryana government (Rs....

1,557 crore), the central government (Rs. 537 crore), and the Delhi Metro (Rs. 400 crore). All stations are elevated and situated along the Delhi-Mathura Road (NH-2). The inauguration also included an announcement of upcoming Metro connectivity between Gurgaon and Faridabad. Meanwhile, Railway Board Member (Infrastructure), Anil Kumar Khandelwal, inspected the construction progress of the new Pamban bridge during a two-day visit to Southern Railway. Officials conducted a light engine trial run to assess the bridge's structural integrity, and reported that infrastructure works are likely to be completed within two months, followed by trial runs. The new bridge replaces the over 100-year-old Pamban rail bridge, which had been weakened by seawater erosion. Khandelwal also mentioned ongoing discussions regarding track works on the Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi line, contingent on land allocation by the state government.

almost Rs. 2,500 crore hai, aur ismein Haryana government (Rs. 1,557 crore), central government (Rs. 537 crore) aur Delhi Metro (Rs. 400 crore) ne contribution diya hai. Saare stations elevated hain aur Delhi-Mathura Road (NH-2) ke saath situated hain. Inauguration mein Gurgaon aur Faridabad ke beech Metro connectivity ke announcement bhi kiya gaya. Iske saath hi, Railway Board Member (Infrastructure), Anil Kumar Khandelwal ne Southern Railway ka visit kiya aur new Pamban bridge ke construction work ka inspection kiya. Officials ne bridge ki structural integrity check karne ke liye light engine trial run bhi kiya, aur report kiya ki infrastructure work do months mein complete ho jaayenge, jiske baad trial runs shuru honge. New bridge 100 saal se bhi zyada purani Pamban rail bridge ki jagah le raha hai, jo seawater erosion se weak ho gayi thi. Khandelwal ne Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi line par track works ke baare mein bhi baat ki, jisko state government se land allocation ke baad start kiya jaayega.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
