Business Development Units (BDUs) har division aur zonal headquarters mein business ke saath kaam kar rahe hain taaki rail freight zyada use ho. N.F. Railway time table wala parcel train aur demand ke hisaab se parcel van bhi chalata hai, aur yeh chahta hai ki log apna saman parcel train aur van se zyada le jaayein.
