Khattar announced that the Prime Minister would also approve the connection of Gurgaon with Faridabad by Metro. Separately, Rithwik Projects Pvt. Ltd. has been selected as the lowest bidder for the construction of the Dongri Depot for Mumbai Metro's Red Line, which includes Lines 9, 7, and 7A. The depot, planned for 41.36 hectares in northwest Mumbai, will house and maintain trains for the entire Red Line. The project's estimated cost is Rs. 639.38 crore with a 52-month completion deadline. This will be Rithwik Projects' second depot construction contract in Mumbai.
