Mumbai Metro’s Aqua Line to become operational on July 24

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi-Faridabad Metro Line, which connects Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar in Faridabad. The line is located on either side of the Delhi-Mathura Road (NH-2) and offers a safe, affordable, quick, comfortable, reliable, and environment-friendly transportation option. The Haryana Chief Minister also announced that Prime Minister Modi would approve connecting Gurgaon with Faridabad by Metro. Meanwhile, Mumbai's first underground metro, the Aqua Line, is scheduled to launch on July 24th. It will connect Aarey Colony to Cuffe Parade via BKC, covering 33.5 kilometers and featuring 27 stations, 26 of which are underground. The Aqua Line will integrate with existing metro lines, buses, and suburban rail services. Operations will begin in two phases, with the first phase covering Aarey Colony to BKC. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will manage operations for the initial 10 years.

₹1,557 crore, Centre ne ₹537 crore aur Delhi Metro ne ₹400 crore contribute kiye hai. Ye line Delhi-Mathura Road (NH-2) ke dono taraf hai, aur yeh ek safe, affordable, quick, comfortable, reliable aur environment-friendly transport option hai. Haryana Chief Minister ne yeh bhi announce kiya ki Prime Minister Modi Gurgaon ko Faridabad se Metro se connect karne ko approve karenge. Iske alawa, Mumbai ka pehla underground metro, Aqua Line, 24 July ko launch hone wala hai. Yeh Aarey Colony se Cuffe Parade tak BKC se hota hua, 33.5 kilometres ki distance cover karega aur isme 27 stations hai, jisme se 26 underground hai. Aqua Line existing metro lines, buses, aur suburban rail services se integrate hoga. Operations do phases mein shuru honge, pehla phase Aarey Colony se BKC tak hoga. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation initial 10 saal tak operations manage karega.
