The Western Railway received Rs 8,587 crore for its network in Gujarat, an increase from the average annual outlay between 2009 and 2014. Rs 2662 crore is allocated for raising the speed on the New Delhi-Mumbai route to 160-200 kmph, aiming for a 12-hour travel time between the two cities. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project received Rs 25,000 crore in the interim budget.

New Delhi-Mumbai route ki speed ko 160-200 kmph tak badhane ke liye Rs 2662 crore allocate kiya gaya hai, jiska target dono shahron ke beech 12 ghante ki travel time hai. Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project ko interim budget mein Rs 25,000 crore mile hain.
