Haryana has received a total allocation of ₹3383 crore for railway development projects, with the Ambala Division receiving ₹2809.88 crore. New rail lines are also being planned, including Nangal Dam–Talwara (₹500 crore), Chandigarh–Baddi (₹300 crore), Bhanupli–Bilaspur–Beeri (₹1700 crore), and Rajpura–Bathinda (₹400 crore).
