Access to the platforms is also through Gate 1. Although the main gate remains open, the unreserved ticket counters have been moved to the Gate 1 hall for improved passenger flow. The new exit for passengers is through the integrated loco lobby near the station master's office, leading to the circulating area near the escalators. Temporary relocation of station offices has been done to minimize disruption. For passenger convenience, common and sleeping waiting rooms, cloakrooms, toilets, and a parcel house have been opened in the circulating area and on Platform 1. The RPF station and catering stalls have been shifted to the senior subordinate rest home and CTI office, respectively. These temporary arrangements will remain in place until the redevelopment work is completed.
