Kolkata's metro network is expanding rapidly, with plans to cover the entire city. The existing Howrah-Esplanade line is operational, and construction is underway on the Howrah-Sector Five route. The upcoming expansion of the Orange line from Kabi Subhash to the airport, a 29 km stretch, is receiving significant funding from...

the central budget. This funding will accelerate the project and is expected to allow for passenger service to reach Sector Five by March-April 2024. The Orange line currently runs from Kabi Subhash to Ruby, and passenger service has been approved for the 4.5 km section from Ruby to Metropolitan. The central budget has allocated a record 1791 crore rupees to the Orange line, prompting an increase in the scope of the project. Instead of just extending to Metropolitan, the Orange line is now planned to reach Salt Lake Sector Five, covering an 8 km stretch. This expansion is expected to drastically improve Kolkata's public transportation infrastructure, offering convenient connectivity to Salt Lake, central Kolkata, and Howrah.

Kolkata ko pura metro route se cover karne ki planning hai. Howrah-Esplanade line pe metro chal raha hai aur Howrah se Sector Five tak metro chalane ka kaam tez chala raha hai. Orange line ko Kabi Subhash se airport tak, 29 km tak extend karne ka kaam bhi tez hon wala...

hai kyunki central budget se iske liye record Rs. 1791 crore mil gaya hai. Isse March-April 2024 tak Sector Five tak passenger service shuru hone ki ummed hai. Orange line abhi Kabi Subhash se Ruby tak chal raha hai aur Ruby se Metropolitan tak 4.5 km ka hissa bhi ab chalane ke liye approve ho gaya hai. Orange line ko Metropolitan tak extend karne ki jagah, ab usse Salt Lake Sector Five tak, 8 km tak extend karne ki planning hai. Isse Kolkata ka public transport network kafi badhega aur Salt Lake, central Kolkata, aur Howrah tak aana-jana bahut aasaan ho jaayega.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
