consists of 12 fully air-conditioned coaches capable of reaching speeds up to 110 kmph. Designed for inter-city travel between 150-200 km, the train incorporates features like a 3x3 seating arrangement, wheelchair-accessible lavatory, talkback system, and the Kavach collision prevention system. The trial run started at Chennai Beach railway station at 9 a.m. and concluded at Katpadi Junction railway station at 2 p.m., covering a distance of approximately 100 km. The Vande Metro, with its high acceleration and deceleration capabilities, aims to enhance passenger comfort and safety while reducing travel time. It is expected to become a significant part of the Indian Railways network, joining the existing 102 operational Vande Bharat train services.

Vande Metro, apni high acceleration aur deceleration capabilities ke saath, passenger comfort aur safety ko badhana chahta hai aur travel time ko kam karna chahta hai. Iske Indian Railways network ka ek important part banne ki ummeed hai, yeh existing 102 operational Vande Bharat train services mein join hoga.
