Indian Railways: ১০ লক্ষ বৃক্ষরোপণ! পরিবেশরক্ষার্থে ২০২৪-এ বিপুল টার্গেট পূর্বরেলের

Indian Railways' Eastern Zone (Eastern Railway) is undertaking a massive tree plantation program to combat pollution and create green zones. They are aiming to plant 1 million trees in the 2024-25 financial year. This includes planting 300,000 trees in the Sealdah division, 240,000 in the Asansol division, 330,000 in the Howrah...

division, and 130,000 in the Malda division. They have already planted 172,000 trees in June 2023. The program will involve planting trees at all offices, DRM buildings, workshops, officer quarters, and employee residences, as well as unused land along railway boundaries to deter encroachment. They are mindful of maintaining visibility and safety for track and signaling, ensuring the tree plantation doesn't hinder rail operations. This initiative emphasizes the Eastern Railway's commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility beyond just passenger and freight transportation.

Indian Railways ka Eastern Zone, yaani Eastern Railway, pollution se ladne aur green zones banane ke liye ek bahut bada tree plantation program chalaya ja raha hai. Unka target hai 2024-25 financial year mein 10 lakh trees lagane ka. Ismein Sealdah division mein 3 lakh, Asansol division mein 2 lakh 40...

hazaar, Howrah division mein 3 lakh 30 hazaar aur Malda division mein 1 lakh 30 hazaar trees lagane ka plan hai. June 2023 mein unhone already 1 lakh 72 hazaar trees laga diye hai. Yeh program har office, DRM buildings, workshops, officers ke quarters, aur employees ke residences mein, aur railway ki unused land pe bhi hoga, jisse encroachment bhi kam hoga. Unka dhyan rakhna hai ki trees track aur signaling ke visibility aur safety ko na aagey aaye aur train operation smooth chalte rahe. Is initiative se pata chalta hai ki Eastern Railway sirf passengers aur freight transport nahi karta hai, balki environment sustainability aur social responsibility ko bhi importance deta hai.
