In Ranchi, a Bal Gopal competition was held at Geetaanjali Hall, Chiraundi, in anticipation of Janmashtami and Dahi Handi celebrations. The main event will be held at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi on the following day. Winners of the Dahi Handi and Bal Gopal competitions will be awarded. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and other dignitaries will be present. This event is being organized by the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Samiti Ranchi, who has invited residents to participate.
The Jharkhand State Movement activists' Sanpark Mahasabha is being held in Morhabadi. Thousands of activists have gathered at the venue. The activists pledged to overthrow the government in a resolution meeting, stating that the government has forgotten their sacrifices. They criticized the lack of recognition and employment opportunities for the children of activists. They also accused Hemant Soren of not understanding the plight of the Adivasis despite being one himself.
The Kolhan region, with 14 assembly seats, is currently dominated by JMM with 12 seats, while Congress holds the remaining two. However, Champiai Soren, known as the 'Kolhan Tiger', is credited with playing a key role in the INDIA alliance's success in the region. His current isolation and lack of attention from the alliance leadership suggest his potential marginalization within the JMM.

Jharkhand State Andolanकारी ka Sanpark Mahasabha Morhabadi mein aayojan kiya ja raha hai. Is program mein hissa lene ke liye hazaron ki sankhya mein andolanकारी saba sthal pahunche. Andolanकारीyon ne sankalp saba mein sarkar ko ukaad phenkne ka sankalp liya. Unhone kaha ki sarkar aaj bhool gai ki humne Jharkhand ko basaya hai, is rajya ke liye hamare andolanकारीyon ne balidan diya. Aaj jo samman andolanकारीyon ko milna chahiye tha wo nahi mila. Andolanकारीyon ke bacche aaj rozgar se bhi vachit hain, kya sarkar ko yeh nahi dikh raha? Hemant Soren adiwasi ho kar bhi adiwasio ka dard nahi samajh paaye. Aane wale chunav mein iska parinam dekhne ko milega.
Kolhan mein vidhansabha ki 14 seaten hain. In seaton ki baat kare toh aaj 12 seaton par JMM ka kabza hai vahi 2 seaten Congress ke khaate mein hain. Lekin INDI gathbandhan ke is Kolhan fatah mein sabse aham yogdan Kolhan Tiger Champiai Soren ka mana jaata raha hai. Aaj Champiai dukhi hain, ahat hain lekin gathbandhan ka koi bada chehra unka kushal kshem poochta nahin dikh raha jo yeh saaf kar raha hai ki Champiai ko ab JMM mein bagi mana ja raha hai.
