Verma had been operating a digital service point, but was actually using a personal user ID to book tickets on the railway website and then selling them at a higher price (₹50-₹100 more than the actual cost). He was apprehended based on a complaint and confessed to his illegal activities. The RPF seized a CPU, a mobile phone, and the 39 e-tickets. The case was handed over to the Mandhir Hasaud outpost for further action under the Railway Act.

ne Ashwani Verma ko pakda, jo personal user ID se train tickets book karke bech raha tha. Usse 36,000 rupees ke 39 e-tickets mile. Verma ek digital service point chala raha tha, par wo actually railway website pe personal user ID se tickets book karke, 50-100 rupees zyada me bech raha tha. Koi complaint mili, toh RPF ki team ne action liya aur usne apna crime confess kiya. Usse ek CPU, mobile phone aur 39 e-tickets seized kiye gaye. Case Mandhir Hasaud outpost ko Railway Act ke under further action ke liye de diya gaya.
