Implementation of new rule at SMVT railway station irks passengers

Starting Monday, Baiyyappanahalli railway station in Bengaluru will charge parking fees for vehicles picking up or dropping off passengers. The new rule implemented at Sir M Visvesvaraya Railway Station requires payment for vehicles staying on station premises for over ten minutes. The parking fees vary by vehicle type and duration, ranging from Rs 40 for two-wheelers to Rs 500 for three-wheelers and four-wheelers. Passengers and motorists are expressing outrage over the new rule, citing delays in train arrivals, high fees, and inconvenience. They argue that the rule is unfair and will cause trouble. The Minister of State for Railways, V Somanna, has said he will discuss the new rule with railway officials.

karna hoga. 10 minutes ke andar pick up aur drop off ke liye koi charge nahi hai. 11 minutes se bhi fees dena padega. Agar station mein enter karne mein 10 minutes se zyada time lagta hai, toh vehicles owners parking stand mein apna vehicles park kar sakte hain. Minister of State for Railways, V Somanna ne yeh bhi kaha hai ki woh railway officials se baat karenge aur action lenge. Parking fees do-wheelers ke liye 10 minutes se 20 minutes tak Rs 40, three-wheelers aur four-wheelers ke liye Rs 50 fixed hai. 20 se 30 minutes ke liye, do-wheelers ke liye Rs 100 aur three-wheelers aur four-wheelers ke liye Rs 200 charge hai. 30 minutes ke baad, do-wheelers ke liye Rs 250, three-wheelers aur four-wheelers ke liye Rs 500 charge hai. Passengers aur motorists new rule se bahut naraaz hain, woh kehte hain ki trains time pe nahi aati aur family members ko pick up karne ke liye parking fees dena padega, yeh bahut expensive hai. Auto drivers aur bike riders bhi naraaz hain ki agar saara hard earned money inme chala gaya toh hum kaise jeeenge. Railway officials ne kaha hai ki yeh rule implement ho gaya hai. Passengers ko bahut pareshani ho rahi hai.
