The inauguration also saw the announcement of a future metro connection between Gurgaon and Faridabad. Separately, the Madhya Pradesh government is seeking funds for metro projects in Indore and Bhopal. The projects are approved with a cost estimate of Rs. 14,485.55 crore, but the government is still searching for financial sources to initiate construction.

NCR mein connectivity bhi improve hogi. Inauguration mein Gurgaon aur Faridabad ko metro se connect karne ka bhi announcement hua. Alag se, Madhya Pradesh government Indore aur Bhopal mein metro projects ke liye funds dhoondh raha hai. Projects ko approve kiya gaya hai, jiska cost estimate Rs. 14,485.55 crore hai, par government abhi bhi financial sources dhoondh raha hai construction start karne ke liye.
