and T2 (formerly Domestic and International Airports), and Jagannath Shankarsheth Metro (previously Mumbai Central Metro). The MMRCL, responsible for the Metro 3 project, states these changes are necessary to reflect accurate locations, especially after the government's similar changes to corresponding suburban rail stations. While the Prime Minister's visit on October 4th has fueled speculation about Metro 3's inauguration, MMRCL confirms they are currently preparing for Phase 1 operations between Aarey Colony-JVLR and Bandra Kurla Complex. The 33.5-km underground corridor includes 27 stations, 26 of which are underground. With 19 rakes and 260 services, the line aims to accommodate an estimated 17 lakh passengers daily, emphasizing multi-modal integration for convenient last-mile connectivity.

Airport T1 aur T2 (pehle Domestic aur International Airports) aur Jagannath Shankarsheth Metro (pehle Mumbai Central Metro) ke naam badal diye gaye hain. MMRCL, Metro 3 project ke liye zimmedar hai, ne bataya hai ki yeh changes sahi locations ko reflect karne ke liye jaruri hain, khaas karke tab jab government ne suburban rail stations ke naam bhi badal diye hain. Prime Minister ki 4 October ko Mumbai visit ke baad Metro 3 ke inauguration ki baat chal rahi hai, lekin MMRCL ne confirm kiya hai ki wo Aarey Colony-JVLR aur Bandra Kurla Complex ke beech Phase 1 operation ki taiyyari kar rahe hain. 33.5-km underground corridor mein 27 stations hain, jinmein se 26 underground hain. 19 rakes aur 260 services ke saath, yeh line har roz lagbhag 17 lakh passengers ko handle karne ka target rakhti hai, aur woh multi-modal integration par bhi kaam kar rahe hain, taaki aasan last-mile connectivity ho.
