The detonators, though not harmful, are used by the railway to signal obstructions, fog, or mist. The incident gained attention as an army train carrying soldiers, officers, and weapons was scheduled to pass through the area. The detonators were detonated before the train arrived, prompting authorities to stop the train at Sagfata station. Sabir Ali, initially claiming to be off duty and intoxicated, later confessed to planting the detonators out of spite towards his supervisor. He is suspected of having stolen the detonators, as the railway does not officially provide them to employees. There are suspicions that he may be connected to the SIMI terrorist organization, and police are investigating this angle. The incident has prompted the Railway Ministry to take the matter seriously.

Uspe detonators churaneki FIR bhi ki gayi hai, kyunki railway officially employees ko detonators nahi deta hai.
