The affected employee filed a complaint with senior officials in the Prayagraj division and the zonal secretary of the SC/ST Association. The SSE from Makkhanpur had threatened suicide due to alleged exploitation by the officials. The matter has escalated to the Railway Ministry with allegations of a conspiracy to remove the SSE from Makkhanpur and the trackman from their jobs. This incident has ignited widespread anger amongst the railway unions, leading to protests against the ADEN and SSE in charge of Firozabad. The protest on September 28th will be attended by hundreds of officials from various unions including the North Central Railway Employees Union Prayagraj, the SC/ST Association Prayagraj, the North Central Railway Track Maintainer Association Kanpur, and the OBC Association.
