The proposed Balaji Nagar station will be located near Bharati Vidyapeeth, with a distance of over 500 meters from the existing Padmavati station. The Pune Metro will submit a proposal to the union government for approval after securing the land. The PMC received the Pune Metro's request for land and forwarded it to the road department for their opinion. The Swargate to Katraj underground extension was approved by the union cabinet in September 2024, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone virtually. In August, the Pune Metro had requested land for three stations at Market Yard, Padmavati, and Katraj, but a fourth station was decided upon later, leading to the request for additional land at Balaji Nagar.

Land milne ke baad, Pune Metro union government ko proposal submit karega aur approval lega. PMC ko Pune Metro ki land ki request mili hai aur usko road department ko opinion ke liye forward kiya gaya hai. Swargate se Katraj tak underground extension ko September 2024 mein union cabinet ne approve kiya tha, aur Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne virtual ceremony mein foundation stone rakha tha. August mein, Pune Metro ne Market Yard, Padmavati, aur Katraj pe 3 stations ke liye land maanga tha, lekin baad mein fourth station ka decision liya gaya, jiske karan Balaji Nagar mein additional land ki request ki gayi.
