There are multiple no. of non-stop as well as one-stop flights between Kolkata and Kerala, whereas majority of traffic from WB to Kerala (and back) comprises of daily wage workers of Bengal working in Kerala (who cannot obviously afford high airfares). Even to this day they're mostly dependent on the dirty impunctual Assam trains (with no Remore Location Quota)... Absolute Nonsense! They made 22503/04 daily (with no quota for Bengal), and they made two daily trains back2back from Jharkhand... If this is not bias against Bengal, then what is? If good-for-nothing SER cannot handle a daily train, then give it to SR or ER only!
How...
more... about extending 13063/64 BLGT express from Howrah to ERS/KCVL, and making it daily? Let NFR/SR take it over... Shouldn't be a problem as Balurghat MP is state BJP President (also a MoS) and has already promised to improve rail connectivity of his constituency - so do it! If they can get 13413-14/83-84 extended all the way from MLDT to BLGT, nothing should stop them now! One nice daily train via AZ, HWH, VSKP, PER, CBE would be a guaranteed superhit!

How about extending the 13063/64 BLGT express from Howrah to Ernakulam/Kochuveli, and making it daily? Let the Northeast Frontier Railway/Southern Railway take it over. This shouldn't be a problem as the Balurghat MP is the state BJP President (also a Minister of State) and has already promised to improve rail connectivity of his constituency. So, do it! If they can get 13413-14/83-84 extended all the way from Malda Town to Balurghat, nothing should stop them now! One nice daily train via Asansol, Howrah, Visakhapatnam, Perambur, and Coimbatore would be a guaranteed hit!
