to stop at Sonbhadra had been ongoing for a long time, with local officials and MPs advocating for it. Union Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Puri took up the matter with the Railway Minister, resulting in the approval of the stop. However, the lack of sufficient platform length initially posed a challenge. Minister Puri then secured funding to extend the platform at Sonbhadra station. Following the completion of the platform extension, the Rajdhani Express was finally granted permission to stop. The MP expressed his satisfaction with the achievement for the tribal district of Sonbhadra. Both the MP and the MLA emphasized their commitment to securing further train services for the station in the future.
