The first phase of the Aqua Line is expected to reduce vehicular traffic on the stretch by 35%, saving 3.54 lakh litres of fuel. The line connects to both Terminal 1 and 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Metro Line 1 at Marol Naka station. Upon completion, the entire line will cater to around 13 lakh commuters.
