Earlier for intercity all the coaches are of GS sitting intercity type but now RB is alloting GS sitting coaches to only reserved coaches and normal GS coaches . Satavahana has 5 GS reserved and 11 GS reserved is hard to fil as this route has more preference to general ticketing. Today with 5GS and 2 ACC has current occupancy yesterday night when chart is prepared from Vijayawada to SC.

SCR is planning to change the terminal to Charlapalli for Satavahana which is not a customer friendly decision as people want to travel to city center in less cost in intercity express. If blocking of PF is a problem better to extend to Lingampalli then it can run with 3ACC . It will increase demand for reserved seats from Vijayawada.
