This has sparked concerns among residents of Indore, particularly those from Bihar, who have been demanding a daily Indore-Patna train for years. They also want the Indore-Howrah Shipr Express, which currently runs thrice a week, to be made daily. Several other potential routes for Amrit Bharat trains, including Indore-Gwalior, Indore-Lucknow, Indore-Howrah, Indore-Ranchi, and Indore-Raipur, have been proposed. The Amrit Bharat trains are equipped with LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) technology, which enables them to run in both directions without reversing the engine. These trains primarily operate on high-demand routes. Meanwhile, the Western Railway has awarded a contract for the expansion of the Indore-Khandwa gauge conversion project. The 7.50 km stretch from Patalpani will be upgraded with a big line at a cost of 280 crore rupees. The project will be handled by ABCI company.

Woh ye bhi chahte hain ki Indore-Howrah Shipr Express, jo abhi hafte mein teen din chalti hai, woh daily chali jaaye. Kai aur potential routes bhi Amrit Bharat trains ke liye propose kiye gaye hain, jaise Indore-Gwalior, Indore-Lucknow, Indore-Howrah, Indore-Ranchi, and Indore-Raipur. Amrit Bharat trains LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) technology se banne hain, jiske wajah se engine ko reverse kiye bina dono dishao mein chala ja sakta hai. Ye trains mostly high-demand routes pe chalti hain. Iske sath hi, Western Railway ne Indore-Khandwa gauge conversion project ke expansion ka contract de diya hai.
