my new train proposal for 2014:
"Karnataka Sangam" AC SF weekly express (+60 km/hr) b/w Allahabad,ALD (NCR)and Mysore, MYS (SWR) via KCG-SBC route.
-with only 7 commercial halts Jabalpur JBP(WCR),Nagpur NGP(CR),Kazipet JunctionKZJ (SCR),Kacheguda -Hyderabad KCG (SCR),Dharamvaram DMM(SCR), Bangalore City SBC(SWR) and 4 technical halts Satna STA,Etarsi ET,Ballarshah BPQ,Dhone DHNE , thus, in total 13 halts.

MYS-ALD Karnataka Sangam: It can be run on LTT -ALD Duronto timetable (which runs on MON/FRI) from ET till ALD,ie, dep from MYS at 22:40 PM to reach ET at 02:50(day 3) and finally ALD at 12:25 PM on day 3.(afternoon arrival at ALD will faciltate pax going further to BSB,CNB,LKO and RBL,SLN etc places to reach their destinations easily before late night)
Timetable= MYS 22:40 - SBC 01:10-01:15 - DMM 04:45-04:50 - (DHNE 07:45-07:55)* - KCG 13:05-13:20 - KZJ 14:58-15:00 - (BPQ 19:05-19:15)*- NGP 22:15-22:30 -(ET 02:50-03:10)* - JBP 06:45-06:55 - (STA 09:30-09:40)* - ALD 12:25 , approx. 2294km/37hrs45min@60km/hr
ALD-MYS Karnataka Sangam: It can be run on ALD-LTT Duronto timetable(which runs on TUE/SAT) from ALD till ET ,ie, dep from ALD at 19:30 PM (even pax from BSB,CNB,LKO and RBL,SLN etc nearby places can reach ALD easily till evening 7pm to catch this train) to reach ET at 04:10 AM ,to finally reach MYS at 08:50 AM on day 3.
Timetable= ALD 19:30 - (STA 22:00)* - JBP 01:00-01:15 - (ET 4:10-4:25)* -NGP 09:00-09:15 -(BPQ 12:25 -12:35)* - KZJ 16:10-16:12 - KCG 18:00-18:15 - (DHNE 23:15-23:25) - DMM 02:25-02:35 - SBC 05:55-06:15 - MYS 08:50 ; approx. 2294km/37hrs20min@ 61km/hr
-It should be SWR train as NCR never gets / gets least new rakes allotments.
- Being a AC express , will it find enough pax from both ends (esp. pax from ALD/JBP side ) who can afford AC fare enough though it will be weekly ? or it has better chances of being a hit like a normal SF with 2-3 AC coaches?
