DBRG is all the All Latest Station Terminal of NFR having all Latest Technologies so all the Overhauling would be Done in DBRG not New Bongaigaon as of very Less land and Infrastructure not as Developed as New constructed Dibrugarh Railway Station.

It is better to extend this Shatabdi to Siliguri Junction other then keeping it to Platform No 1... Why block PF 1 for overnight...

In 11 pm in night & morning 5 am it will be not much problem to cover this small distance between New Jalpaiguri to Siliguri Junction. The main problem area Railway Gate near Siliguri Town Station will be less crowded...

But how u r going to take a train from New Jalpaiguri to DBRG for maintenance... DBRG is almost 1000 KM from New Jalpaiguri...

I am Saying that not about NFR LHB Rake but all over india Overhauling would be Done at DBRG so as to Relieve the Latest NR Zone LHB Overhauling Coach Depot.

Can't agree to the statement "ER maintenance is the worst." We know the HWH, SDAH Rajdhani and Duronto expresses have one of the best maintenance in IR. All the AC coaches of the trains operated by ER also recieves good maintenance. In the ICF days of HWH-RNC-HWH Shatabdi, despite of the coaches being too much old, HWH divn took great care of the rake and it used have very clean coaches. AC coaches of WBSK, Kalka, Darjeeling Mail, Uttarbanga exp etc are also well maintained and the cleaning can be seen mopping the floor and cleaning the windows, mirrors frequently. The Sleeper and GS coaches of ER aren't really good.
