An updated list of IRI admins/ex-admins and members/ex-members I have been privileged to meet during my association with IRI, refreshed as on 1st January 2014. Golden opportunities to interact with a galaxy of stars from IRI and enlarge my circle of friends have been a matter of immense pleasure for me. To use a by now well worn cliche and even at the risk of repetition ad nauseam, I must express my gratitude to IRI in general and the moderator in particular, for making this possible. I consider myself singularly blessed to have been fortunate to have met more than 30% of the admins of IRI.

I think in the current circumstances the existing coach requirements and also future possible projections can easily be met with the existing coach factories ( Perambur, Kapurthala & Rae Bareli). This is /was the response being given by the ministry on this question. Apart from Kazipet, there was one planned in Kanjikode. Same reply for that as well. In November itself article had come on this when one of the MP's had asked this question in parliament.

Every year on 11 September, a jeep departs with his personal belongings to the nearest railway station, New Jalpaiguri, from where it is then sent by train to the village of Kuka, in the Kapurthala district of the Indian state of Punjab. While empty berths on any train of the Indian Railways are invariably allocated to any waitlisted passenger or on a first-come-first-served basis by the coach attendants, a special reservation for the Baba is made. Every year a seat is left empty for the journey to his hometown and 3 soldiers chaperone the Baba to his home.
