This train lost its glory after it lost it's 2pm slot ex ndls, used to be fastest in ndls cnb now just another superfast, ppta, mne halts should be rmvd, though I don't think there's any chance of significant speed up in the near future

This train has totally been ruined with time and in IR once ruined they won't revert. Multiple halts in patna region further in bju kir section made the charm of this train lost however due to demands will always be the first priority of every passenger travelling in route. We can expect vb version maintaining the charm of old rajdhani.

But Congress Govt. made Rajdhani Express to run in Howrah to New Delhi route. Vajpayee ji remarked by saying " Yeh Rajdhani Express Yojna fail ho jayega, Kolkata se jyada bada saher(city) Bombai(Mumbai) hain"

Listen mate, No one expected TMC to get 218!!! in 2021 & 29!!! in 2024. All things ground in reality after the Sandeshkhali incident expected TMC to get 16, BJP to get 18 & rest 8 seats. Even the Muslim areas of Newtown, Bhangore voted against TMC. TMC candidates like Yusuf Pathan, Kirti Azad won despite being outsiders in Bengal politics & heavyweight BJP leaders who won big in 2019 lost in 2024. In 15 seats, Votes polled was 8-10% more than the total voters & TMC won 11 of those seats & BJP just 4. And my blog /blog/post/6215858

Overtaken by Farakka on mainline, that's a new low.
Perhaps Dadri being the freight hub, it was easier to get a WAG-9 ready, given the fact that the train only halted near to an hour and half. Moreover Durontos have lost the priority they used to enjoy.

The new train between hyd Chennai should introduce via mbnr krnt .after extension of 17651/52 to chengalpattu and pondicherry this areas lost dedicated train to Chennai. Kzj ,bza ,nlr route have many train to Chennai,.nlg gnt nlr have hyb mas exp .but krnt mbnr have only this by extension to pdy .they lost quota so that new hyd Chennai train should run via mbnr krnt

In that case, if at all this train were to become a 16 coacher, even then it would be reduced to just 2-3 Sleepers (from currently 10)... much like Upasana/Kumbh, would it be of much help - given the quantum of rush on this train?
Because given the current infrastructure around Kalka railway station, it's frankly quite herculean to construct platforms there now for 22 coach trains. For standard 22 coach LHB rake, it'll have to be short terminated at CDG, which again some of our forum members were saying wouldn't be...
