A study by Indian Railways suggests that travel time between Delhi and Kolkata could be reduced by 2 hours and 20 minutes by implementing these improvements. The push-pull technology, currently used in approximately 225 LHB coaches built annually, is expected to significantly improve acceleration and deceleration, making it two times faster than current trains. The 'Vande Bharat' trains already boast four times faster acceleration and deceleration capabilities compared to existing trains.
